Erica Angelique Hesse is an artist born and raised in South Jersey. Despite contrary belief, everything you've heard about Jersey girls are untrue. While some Jersey gals are boozing and cruzin', getting into bar fights, and over-tanning, this girl prefers to stay out of the sun and concentrate on drawing the ladies. Erica loves to create art in the form of, but not limited to: pin-up, burlesque, roller derby, horror, hot rod, and comic book related art.

Erica exhibits her art at several comic book conventions and group art shows a year, and is looking forward to making future appearances at tattoo, classic car, and horror conventions. Most people know her as the girl that illustrates roller derby and burlesque girls, since she has created several posters and logos for roller derby leagues and Burlesque shows. She has done work for the Arizona Roller Derby Association, The Charm City Rollergirls, and the Orlando Psycho City Derby Girls. She has also done several burlesque posters for Chaz Royal 's Infamous Burlesque Social Club and logo work for Retrotease.net, a global social network. She even has a snippet of her art featured in the Burlesque Poster Design, the Art of Tease, by Korrero books.

More recently, her pin-up cartoon humor work is featured regularly in PinUp America magazine. Other publications or art that has been showcased is Voltron: United and Drawn by 5finity and Moonstone, Sheena Queen of the Jungle, Jim Mahfood's MixTape, and Dean Yeagle's Mandy and Skoots sketch cards by 5finity. She has also done sketch cards for Marvel Masterpieces III and various pin-ups for independent comic books. Currently, she's self-publishes her own comic book, "The Key" and is looking to self publish her very first pin-up/art book as well, tentatively titled "GIrls, GIrls, GIrls and more".

In her spare time she likes to read comics, pin-up, burlesque, hot rod, horror, and low-brow art related books. She also likes to collect designer vinyl toys, comic book statues, posters, and art prints. When she's not collecting, you may catch her at the nearest coffee shop to rejuvenate her deviant brain. If you so happen to see her in such a place, use extreme caution when approaching. There's an old Urban Legend that she's been known to eye a cup of coffee like a tiger eyes its prey, and the results are not pretty.
